Thanks to your donations, our Fourth grade classes got to learn about the Pony Express in a unique way. Each student had to switch "horses" at the swing stations (the orange cones) and switch riders and horses at the home stations (the chairs) from Sacramento to St. Joseph, Missouri and back to Sacramento. Due to the breeze, many horses kept wandering off, but it was a fun and educational event for all the 4th and 5th grade classes! Mrs. Thompson also taught roping. Mrs. Patten worked with kids to make butter, and Mrs. Hultgren taught students to do quill writing.
Your generous donations helped fund our fourth graders trip to Old Sacramento to learn first hand about California History.
Thanks to your donations, 4th graders got new props and costumes for their yearly play!
Your generous donations helped fund an incentive trip for our student who accumulated enough Accelerated Reading points and those that took part in the Academic Pentathlon. The students are about to see the The Jungle Book movie. Many of the students read The Jungle Book this year and are holding the book in the picture.
Golf tournament funds assisted other fundraisers to send our 6th grade students to Camp SeaLab for 3 days.
